.LONG TERM... Issued 401 AM CDT Sat Sep 20 2025
Monday through Friday:
Light sly flow and a weak warm front will return on Mon quickly followed by a weak shortwave trough and cold frontal passage Mon nt. Light nely winds may then prevail for much of the week. A shortwave trough will track from the nrn Rockies into the central Great Plains early in the week, then becoming a cut off low over the central USA from Tue nt-Fri. This may put srn WI on the nrn fringes of a precipitation region from the low, but there is uncertainty of the evolution and track of the stacked low. Precipitation chances of 40-50% are forecast for Mon into Mon nt followed by 10-20% chances for Tue nt-Fri.
