The upper-level trough that has brought more reasonable weather to
South Texas continues to make its way across The South through
this weekend. Most of the CAMs are hinting at some shower/storm
development this morning as a result of this upper-level feature
still draped across Coastal Texas. Given the significantly reduced
PWATs forecast for the region and the greatest enhanced divergence
aloft focused near the TX/LA border, decided to back off on PoPs
for the region today. With dewpoints generally remaining at bay
for the forecast period, temperatures will be more seasonal across
the region. Beyond Thursday, the NBM is throwing low end PoPS
(10-20%) but if this comes to fruition, it will primarily be for
locations closest to the coast.

Very simple TAF forecast for tonight through Friday with VFR
conditions expected to prevail. Brief MVFR visibility is possible
for ALI and VCT as some patchy morning fog develops, but expect this
will be short-lived.

There will be prevailing northeasterly wind at gentle to moderate
strength (BF 3-4) with 1-2 ft seas through the upcoming week. Low
chances (10-20% chance) for showers/storms will be in place
through today. The next chance for daily rain chances begin from
Monday and will still generally remain under 30% chances.
