- Dry with warm temperatures through much of the upcoming week.

   late week, especially along the coast.

Dry air over the region will keep us dry through the next several
days despite a shortwave moving across the area tonight through
Tuesday. This will bring an increase in cloud cover, but will not
expect showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will be on a gradual
increase for the next few days as this shortwave passes and high
pressure re-builds into the area.  By later in the week we`ll see an
increase in moisture and at the same time another shortwave across
the region. This will bring at least low chance PoPs to the Coastal
Plains Friday through Monday. Otherwise expect pretty seasonal
conditions with mainly light winds through the period.
Of note, there is currently a low pressure center in the Gulf, but
there is little to no concern for any impact to the Texas coast. The
low is expected to drift south into the Bay of Campeche over the
next few days with only marginal winds.

VFR conditions expected through this period with mainly light
winds. We will continue to see a blanket of high clouds with some
mid-level clouds, but impactful CIGS are not anticipated.

Mainly gentle to moderate northeast to east winds will persist
through Tuesday. By Wednesday flow becomes light and variable. Later
week will return to mostly moderate northeast to east flow. Rain
chances are minimal through mid-week, then increase to a low to
moderate chance for the end of the week.
