Quiet in the short term continues although won`t rule out a few
sprinkles across the area tomorrow. Upper level ridge in place
today but as the ridge shifts east, a shortwave upper level trough
will move across the area for Monday. Some mid level moisture will
accompany this wave and a few sprinkles will be possible as it
passes. Much more abundant and thicker mid/upper level cloud cover
by afternoon will also help keep temperatures down a few degrees
tomorrow verse what we are seeing today, with highs mainly in the
mid/upper 80s.

A weak slow-moving upper level trough will move northeast across
Texas Monday afternoon through Tuesday. The main outcome of this
will be and increase in cloud cover across the area. After the
trough moves east, upper level ridging is expected to move back
over west central Texas through the end of the week. This will
result in a dry forecast with gradually warming temperatures.
Highs will be back in the lower 90s by the end of the week, with
lows generally in the low to mid 60s. Winds will generally be
light and south-southeasterly.
