.SYNOPSIS... High pressure will allow for dry conditions through Friday. A system will begin to approach the region for the weekend bringing with it precipitation chances across the area.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TODAY/... Above normal high temperatures are expected today with highs in the 80s to around 90 degrees in spots. With dry airmass in place, dropped dewpoints slightly in the afternoon. Only expect a few cu during the day.

.SHORT TERM /TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT/... High clouds will be moving across the region tonight into Tuesday. Lows tonight are expected to be in the 50s to lower 60s. Another day with temperatures in the 80s and dry conditions is expected for Tuesday. Lows Tuesday night are expected to drop down into the 50s to around 60.

.LONG TERM /WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY/... Models have slowed the onset of precipitation chances with dry conditions now expected Wednesday though Friday. Precipitation chances will start to edge into western portions of the area on Saturday as system starts to approach. Precipitation chances spread across the rest of the area for Sunday when there is better model agreement of a system bringing some rain to the region.
High temperatures will generally be in the 80s during this time, although a few 90s will be possible Thursday and Friday.

.AVIATION /06Z MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/... VFR conditions are expected except for river valley fog overnight at KLUK. A few cu will be present during the day and some high clouds moving in at the end of the TAF period. Winds will be light and less than 10 knots.
