Low to mid level cloudiness will start to erode late this afternoon with mostly clear skies expected this evening through tonight. Winds will be from a northerly direction this afternoon, becoming light and variable this evening through tonight. Winds then remain light and shift to a southelry direction tomorrow with continued mostly clear skies. Lows tonight are expected to range from the upper 40s across far western Kansas to upper 50s across central Kansas. Highs tomorrow will reach into the upper 70s.

A dry pattern continues tomorrow night into the remainder of the forecast period as upper level ridging builds over the Plains. A few ensemble models hint at a slight chance of precipitation early next week but as of now the NBM remains dry. Slightly above normal temperatures are expected through this period with highs in the low 80s and lows in the 50s.

Low to mid level clouds will erode by this evening leaving VFR conditions through tomorrow. Winds will be from a northerly direction this afternoon gusting to around 20 knots. Winds then become light and variable overnight before shifting to the south tomorrow.
