Eleanor is a town in Putnam County, West Virginia, United States, along the Kanawha River. Its population was 1,548 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Huntington–Ashland metropolitan area. The town, named for Eleanor Roosevelt, was established as a New Deal project in the 1930s like other Franklin D.
