A mid/upper ridge is progged to build over the Rockies and High
Plains today as the trough responsible for our recent wet weather
continues to translate eastward away from the area.
This mid/upper ridge is progged to linger over the area as a
blocking pattern becomes established. This is expected to result in
an extended period of tranquil weather conditions with light winds
and dry weather conditions. Temperatures through the period will
remain mild for late Sep with highs mostly in the 80s and lows in
the 50s/around 60 through the forecast period.

VFR conditions are expected to prevail for this TAF period with
light northerly/northwesterly winds. Areas of fog are possible
through Thursday morning mainly in southeast Kansas affecting
CNU. Other sites may see fog, but confidence was not high enough
to include at this time.
