- After a drier and warmer weekend, moisture will trend back up Monday and may bring an uptick in showers and storms to parts of the area, especially western and central New Mexico.

- A backdoor cold front will cool-off eastern New Mexico Tuesday into Wednesday and may bring an uptick in showers and storms to more of the region. However, forecast confidence is very low beyond Tuesday at this time.

Water vapor imagery shows drier zonal flow from AZ sliding east into NM early this morning. PWATs will fall below 0.50" for much of the area today as moisture is scoured from west to east. A significant downtick in storm coverage is expected with only isolated storms across northeast NM and the southern high terrain. High temps will be several degrees warmer and near 5F above normal across parts of eastern NM.
