- A cold front could bring some sprinkles to Cook County and NW WI late this afternoon into evening.
- Strong northeast winds at the head of Lake Superior may create rip currents at beaches across the Twin Ports on Friday.
- Seasonably warm temperatures and mainly dry conditions persist into the middle of next week.
- A few sprinkles/rain showers are possible north of the Iron Range Friday night into Saturday morning. Additional low-end rain chances (less than 20%) are possible at times on Monday and Tuesday.

Today - Tonight:
Looking at a primarily dry and warm afternoon/evening under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. A mostly dry cold front over northwest and north-central MN will continue to pump in breezy SW to WSW winds ahead of it and northerly winds behind it as it travels southeast across the Northland the remainder of today. Expect afternoon high temperatures to top out in the upper 70s to low 80s today. Areas around the Twin Ports and South Shore should even see some warming of a couple degrees relative to inland areas due to downslope warming.
